I just got NetGear N600 WNDR3400 few days ago. I paid $55+tax and so far I'm happy with this router. It's got very good signal strength. I get the signal throughout my two storey house no problem.
My home computer has a pretty weak wireless adapter and it had troubles picking up signal from other routers, but with this router, sitting at the opposite side of the house (same floor), I get very good signal.
