Sorry to hear about this Jay. I've seen this happen at other large companies too, they push out very long term and highly knowledgeable employees to bring in their own and basically go backwards because of it. It will be interesting to see if they make any design changes to the Fram filter line ... hopefully not to cut corners to try and make more money out of the company. The BITOG filter forum "Cut and Posts" will reveal any changes if they take place, so time will tell. Guess it might be time to think of a new high efficiency filter to go to if they screw up the Ultra.

You had a lot of the responsibility for bringing the brand back from the dead. It could go back down again if the new owner doesn't appreciate Fram's fragility.
