Hi all

I'm looking for recommendations for a battery powered (40 volt) extendable hedge trimmer for some tall hedges.

I had a gas powered Echo one but sold it as it was heavy to hold up over my head.

What do y'all use and recommend?

I gust got a hedge trimmer attachment for my Green Works 40v MAX 8" pole saw. I love it. the 8" chain saw is great too and I use it all the time. The 2AH battery last as long as the chain oil does so that's a good match, about an hour of use. Two or three hours to recharge. They have a 4AH battery too I think. hhttps://www.greenworkstools.com/shop-by-voltage/40v?p=3

Check out the Atlas 40V hedge trimmer at Harbor Freight, if you can live without the pole extension.

I bought the Ryobi pole hedge trimmer from Home Depot. I charged the battery for about an hour and then used it for about 4 hours. It still had plenty left. Worked great although I was tired when done.
