Thermon BSX is ~ $5.42/ft. So, 50' is going to be about $547 with temp controller & power junction box w/ termination kit. That is quite a bit. Maybe just try Armacell Tube Insulation & see how it does. I'll have to buy that anyway if I use heat tape.
I'm not real confident in the reliability of heat tape.
Heck, I could buy a bigger pump (existing is a Little Giant model VCMA-15ULS) so that I could move the tubing high enough where it would gravity drain.
