Healthy Ice Cream

Ricotta tastes good with fruit. Sure there is some residual milk sugar and sugar from the fruit but otherwise pretty healthy. If you’re not a fan of ricotta, Greek yogurt full fat is good too

When were tourists last week we each had a kiddy cup of ice cream $10 bill!

I have occasionally gelato. Like with other treats, I don't need much more than a taste to feel satisfied. Like I said earlier, a ball or two is enough. I do like it in a waffle cone. 🍧

No thanks.... Ill stick to my Blue Bell Ice Cream.. :)
If Blue Bell was illegal I would have been behind bars years ago! (y) Blue Bell is not safe around me. Wife will only allow it in the house on special occassions as she feels the same way about it. She is a retired dietician so I can't get away with much in the "bad food for you" line up! After 45 years together ...... maybe she needs me or really does love me!

Pistachio right up there- well all those sound good
Love them all. Plus - (non ice cream) too. We keep a cannister full of roasted/sea salted pistachios on the counter in the kitchen near snacks. Even the oldest grandaughter (10) is already hooked on them. For some reason the grandkids could care less about ice cream......?

I eat pistachios every day, usually in combination with pumpkin and sunflower seeds. Tastes great and is nutritionally speaking an outstanding combination.

the "natural vanilla" still is, and is the only one that is I believe. All the other flavors are loaded up with junk, including the other vanilla's - like french vanilla for example.
To me Bryers used to be the best years ago before they got bought out and the flavor changed... Years ago they had one called Butter Almond...It was the best before the messed it up..

Call it frozen yogurt and then it’s healthier. :D

Imagine taking that list and placing it besides the very first ice cream ingredients families used to make their ice cream with at home the real old hand crank way! Of course that is all going to be listed as preservatives or the one I always get a kick out of is the "flavour preserving!" LOL

We used to have an ice cream maker. You can make pretty good ice cream with milk, cream, sugar and vanilla xtract. The fancier recipes involve eggs and cooking.
