Our new plan starts Jan 1. $260/mo for the family (kids up to 26 now!), $3000 deductible for the family (total rip and people are super prissed), Max OOP is $6000 mostly all natural reactions to abiding with the new HC regs. I guess the only good news is we have a cool HSA up to $5950 (or some such #) per year with a company kicker into the HSA. More taxed deferred income never hurts. I can invest it how I like and take it with.

Actually, after looking at the paperwork more closely, they don't contribute a dime to dependents as far as premiums! All the people who worked for this company before it was taken over said their insurance basically quadrupled since they have dependents. But for me since I'm single, it works out great.

Oops, that was also wrong. It goes from $22/month to $543 for a child plus an adult. Not too bad.
