Wonder where it goes when it turns right sooner or later????? We could use a good soaker too here in Illinois. Need the ground settled around all my new drain pipes.

Does that mean I might be able to search for flood vehicles at Arizona salvage auctions in the near future?Concern is growing that Hurricane Hilary will unleash a prolific amount of flooding rainfall on the southwestern US and parts of California as it makes a rare move over the region Sunday and into early next week, triggering the first ever tropical storm watch for California.
Hilary could dump more than a year’s worth of rain in parts of three states: California, Nevada and Arizona. Because of the threat, parts of California face a rare high risk for excessive rainfall. This Level 4 of 4 threat is the first to ever be issued for this part of Southern California.
Hilary was a powerful Category 4 hurricane churning about 400 miles south of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Friday morning with sustained winds of 145 mph with stronger gusts, the National Hurricane Center said.
I'm sure there would be some people that wouldn't mind if it would park itself over Lake Mead and just hammer away at it for a while.
Personally, I'd love to have some good high-definition video of the Hoover Dam spillways working again since the last time that happened was 1983.
The Imperial Palace (now The Linq) parking lot/garage always flooded during downpours, as did many roads and neighborhoods. If this storm hits like it is projected to, there will be massive flash flooding despite the flood control work that has been done in the last 25 years.Does that mean I might be able to search for flood vehicles at Arizona salvage auctions in the near future?
Hoping for no loss to lives or limbs.....

I'd expect a lot of flooded vehicles in Vegas. Unfortunately there will be some Darwin's Law annual award competitors here. No matter how many times they are instructed not to, some people can't avoid driving into newly formed lakes and rivers
Tell us if air travel is effected.im heading to san Diego from Louisiana for vacation. a tropical storm to me is like a good rain. ill get there tomorrow and stay till Friday.
