So it looks like HP has come up with another "solution" to a question that nobody asked - some of their laptops/netbooks now only have a single mini-jack port for both headphones and mic. So if you want to use your existing headset (which has two mini-jack plugs), you will now have to find an appropriate adapter. These adapters seem to be hard to find. Does anyone know the proper name for this type of adapter and where to buy it?

I'd just buy a new headset thats usb based.

I couldnt find the dongle for that either (for a customer)

Thanks. I haven't bought the netbook yet. Looks like I'll be staying away from HP though when I'm ready to buy.

slightly larger than netbook but with a real computer inside.

It's for my fiance. She doesn't care as much as about computing power as about size - needs to have a 10" screen.
