Havoline Synthetic

I stopped at the local Big Lots and loaded up on Havoline Synthetic 5W20 SM GF-4 @ $3.00 a quart. There is no tax on motor oil for some reason here in this state? Have enough for a couple of years worth of oil changes in both of our vehicles.

Dino oil is approaching $3.00 a quart so don't think I did all that bad considering.

They had a good selection of 5W20, 5W30, etc., in both Dino and Synthetic.

I got 22q of various Havoline Synth for $50, asked for 20% off which is standard. Nice, now I have to re-organize my stash.

I bought 40 quarts of Havoline Synthetic 5W-30 today @ $3.00 a pop... Anyway, my wife says I can't come here anymore, because you guys are bad, and a bad influence on otherwise fiscally responsible people! How do I get outta the doghouse?

Come on man, that's easy! How long have you been married anyway? Check out the Steve Saka's marital bliss calculator here , and simply replace the word "cigars" with whatever you bought yourself.

Hey, she will want something for herself eventually. Just play it cool until she does, then lay the guilt trip on her!

did you do a uoa on your elantra?

Yup

I only went 5000 miles since I had higher than normal fuel dilution in the previous run. I would not hesitate to do 7500 with my driving style/conditions. I am having to make myself resist going there and making a deal with the manager. I already went there once and loaded up my basket, but put it all back (and organized it for them).
