Have you ever met a youtuber in person?

To answer OP's question, I haven't met any YouTubers, but have met a few celebrities.

- Mia Farrow
- Liza Minnelli
- Naomi Campbell
- Queen of Morocco
- Ronnie Coleman (super nice guy, took a picture with him)
- Unknown female host of a Spanish dance / music show on Telemundo in LA who wanted to get me and my buddy to dance in the audience lol. We couldn't make it though.
- Reporter from French Elle magazine who was in LA at the time, met her on a double decker tour bus and we went out on a date the next day. She was staying at the 4 Seasons, wow what a place. We were supposed to go to the Viper Room for a story she was doing but plans changed last minute, I think we ended up having coffee instead.

I ran into “Peg” aka Zip ties & Bias Ply’s in town once. He is local to me. He’s 100% the same as in the videos which shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone that has watched his channel. Mint.

I met money management YouTuber Caleb Hammer at a meet & greet event in Austin. While my wife and I are much better about spending than the people on his show, his advice helped us allow our money to better work for us. I like his “tough love” style, and you can by see how frustrated he gets with the really boneheaded financial choices his guests make, that he truly cares. Picture is me on the left, Caleb in the middle, my wife Dyan on the right.

Also, when I worked at TSA, I met many non-YouTube celebrities including Willie Nelson, Tim Gunn, Levar Burton, Al Pacino, Stan Lee, Cate Blanchett, and Miranda Lambert. While those experiences were cool, I do not wish my old job on my worst enemy.

Dude!

I met Eric O from "South Main Auto" in Avoca, NY
Haha, so you're one of the "crazies" that he and his wife refer to in various videos 😂😂😂
I had no idea his shop was local to me
I'm not far from his old location. I'm curious if he'll be able to bounce back though.... He used to focus on regular people repairs, mainly with Hondas, but then started with that Ford Fairmont and various older pickup trucks and when his (new) landlord booted him out of the shop, he's really lost his way. He's got almost 2 million subscribers and should have been raking in the $$$ and able to find another location quite easily, but.... that's none of my business !

Yes!
I met Eric O from "South Main Auto" in Avoca, NY on my way back to Rochester, NY from State College, PA.
(@Hall you beat me to it! lol)
I've often wondered how he would be in person. He used to rag on all the "youtubers" that called his shop incessantly, so I figured he wouldn't be all that friendly to walk-ups. You don't hear him mention that anymore. Regardless, he's been my favorite automotive channel since he began. I'd be happy to hang with Mrs O. She's a trooper.

A not so popular one? Sure. My nephew is a YTuber as a middle schooler and he was doing a lot trying to get more viewers, it is not that great of a business if you don't have much value to the viewers. I mean what can you show others when you are just a 12 year old?

This guy rides all the trails in Southern Ontario and I spotted him in the parking lot at one of our local trails, nice enough guy, and is pretty much the same as in his videos. If I am going somewhere new I'll skim through his video to see what its like.
I have a few friends and people I know that have tried to get a youtube channel going, but only one has made some money, its about running computer servers, so maybe 30k subscribers is pretty good, given how many folks have any idea what he is talking about?
