I got a shade at the D-Backs game when we visited last April when they played the Dodgers.

I have a couple of custom fit shades for the M235i and Club Sport; I use them any time they sit in the sun for extended periods.

Bought the foldable circle ones from Brookstone 20 years ago and still using it this day. I live the desert South West.

Respectfully,

Pajero!

Windows tinted and sunshade used every day. I found the best sun shades are the ones that are stiff, they stay in place better (no sagging) and last longer.

I was wondering if folks know where a folding cardboard one can be bought. I like these, as I can trim them to be an exact fit for my car. I am not really fond of the aluminized ones, though to be honest I have not tried a model-specific aluminized / bubble-wrap sunshade.

Anyone, i.e. re the cardboard ones?

Thx!

If I had a vehicle with leather seats I would probably use a sun shade, but for the most part there are very few days where I really would have a need for one. car gets hot but cools down quickly with the windows open. I rarely use AC even on the hottest days.. for some reason I prefer opening the windows a crack instead.

I use it everyday in Miami Beach. With tint and sun shade I am good to go in this blazing sun. I never leave a window cracked because of landscapers constantly everywhere and thieves plus I find doing that does absolutely nothing. Leaving the a/c set in outside air helps vent it.

If you intend to keep the car over 5 years, even in Alaska it'll keep the UV rays from baking until cracked the dash, deck, and seats. Fully cloudy days excepted and I always park facing the sun's general path. I chuckle at users who park facing N...

I uses one every time I park the car for any length of time outside. I think it makes a huge difference in the life of the interior of the vehicle. It's not only the heat, it's the UV exposure that kills the interior. I don't think over the course of the day it keeps the heat that much lower but it keeps the sun out.
