Automotive sun shades

I used to use a Brellashield, but have switched to a $10 knockoff on Temu that’s actually better quality. Sets up and takes down insanely fast and stores small.

My wife bought a silver/reflective type from VW that rolls up for storage for our 18 Passat. Of course she paid a ridiculous price through the dealer but going on 7 years and the things still looks new. First 5 years of the cars life was in Las Vegas, where sunshades are a must. I tease her all the time about paying triple for something she could have bought through Amazon but that thing has paid for itself x10.

I cannot imagine not using a heat shield in the summer in any climate. In Arizona it is an absolute necessity. I am amazed when I see a car parked facing into the sun with no heat shield.

Probably my car! I'm not bothering with one of these dorky things.

I use the cheap fold up fabric style from Wall Mart. My concern is both protecting the dash and lowering the in car temperature. A dash cover does nothing for the temperature.
Agree. Dash mats for crack prone dashes are a decent idea though.

Lately the sizes haven’t been as available. I’ve been moving towards the two half fabric ones too.
