Have/would you ever wrap a vehicle?

I think it looks like trash. Especially the matte colors.

For a business vehicle, the wrapping would likely pay for itself. A company having a nice looking vehicle shows pride and I would hire that business over one with a beat up, unmarked vehicle showing no company pride.
I'm convinced you're either a spam bot to drive engagement or it's your job to conduct surveys and collect data.
I'll love to wrap something in chrome, especially a car that has faded or peeling paint, but not if it costs more than a paint job itself.
There is someone on campus here with a chrome wrapped Audi R8. It looks awful.
A few things.
There are accidents where it makes sense to have a wrap instead of pay for the repairs.Think scrapes and scuffs of higher end vehicles and exotics.
Second, a wrap can help a business but it has to be tastefully done. I find that squarish vehicles do a better job than small and aero cars. However a stretch limo can be absolutely great if the business can be somehow indexed to that unique type of car.
Otherwise wraps have limited lives and don't serve any useful purpose in the long run.

Depends. Something I’m not driving a ton? Sure, but I’m doing a cool design as I’m not a fan of the chrome/color changing/satin/matte look. Or maybe if I could get my hands on dBrand’s “acid Damascus” vinyl as shown on this MacBook… or maybe their “glitch” camo

IMO, that's it in a nutshell.
I always thought non-advertising wraps were to protect the paint of a leased vehicle.
I never knew they could "bake on".

This car is owned by the people who have the fingernail place inside the Walmart. Their business logo is in the back window and it sits near the doors every day. This is the second wrap they've had, the first was a prismatic chrome. This sparkles like diamonds.
If the goal is to have a vehicle that is "less visible", the matte or flat options are appealing. I saw a vehicle that had "road camo" on it, and thought it was kinda cool.
The nose and mirrors on our GT500 are done in clear but it is far thicker than a normal wrap, it is just to prevent rock chips. It is like a clear bra. It has held up well though, still clear almost 10 years later.
Ya I guess it's cool for about 10 mins or if you're Batman.
In Atlanta it's fairly common to see the matte grey wrap on vehicles like Lambo, Bentley, AMG Mercedes, BMW M5, i8, etc. There was a chrome i8 running around a few years ago.
More money than class.

I don't understand the matt finishes, especially matte clear from the factory. Who wants a dull car? I don't think matte clear will hold up well in the long run. At least with a wrap you can peel it off. I think the matte look is an ode to experimental cars that weren't full refinished.
Having a wrapped work vehicle will get you a tax write off as well:
Not for me! I frequent Scottsdale at least twice a month, and I have my car serviced at boutique shops where there’s a lot of wrapped cars. The stuff is just too delicate, especially around the edges and tends to pull back overtime due to the inherit shrinking process. If I only showed my car and drove it to church and brunch, then I would do it. I mean, the results do look impressive, it’s just not durable enough for me.
