Has Red Line CV-2 grease been discontinued?

I have been trying to buy Red Line CV-2 grease for 2 years now. It is back ordered everywhere including Red Line’s own website. My grease gun is empty and I’d really like to stick with CV-2 instead of going to something else.

Anybody else notice this?

I called Red Line and actually got a real person this time. I was told that Red Line Oil moved it's headquarters from California to Tennessee and that they have been backed up for up to a year on some products due to delays in setting up their new manufacturing. They expect to have all SKU's back in stock in 3-4 months.

Redline has been having extreme distribution issues with their move to TN.

Unfortunately, their facility was heavily affected by Hurricane Helene. As well, alot of their employees were impacted by the Hurricane as well.

They expect everything to go back to normal next month.


There was also a fire at Royal, which will disrupt grease supplies. How badly this will affect grease supplies going into the future is unknown. But it will absolutely cause a ripple affect as the industry is finally getting back to normal after the Chemtool fire.

Found this thread from google. I am Glad to hear this. I have been trying to find this grease for over a month now and was beginning to wonder the same thing. Thanks for taking the time to fill us all in on your conversation.
Luckily it will be warmer weather before I need any of this grease. Hopefully they will have everything back in stock by then.

So to follow up on this, it is starting to come back in stock in some places. I saw it available last night but did not order it. it is now out of stock again. Hopefully it is starting to become available again
