Has anyone tried Costa filters?

They just arrived. Seems well built. Holes in center tube.

COF4459:

The silicone ADBV seems thinner than any other one I have seen, but other than that seems very nice. Can is pretty thick. To be honest, seems like a PG standard filter, including the media, with a silicone ADBV instead of nitrile. Probably fine for a 7500K OCI. I will use them for 5K.

Welp, I ordered a case that fits both a Kawasaki mule and a Toyota Corolla. COF4477. Somehow I just received two cases of filters I didn't order. One of COF21117E and one of COF21103. Emailed them...

Zip zero reply from them. Disappointing and I'd say don't use them if this is how they operate.

Yeah, I sent a couple asking about the efficiency specs to two different addresses and heard nothing back. Not a great way to expand your business.

If @Urshurak776 hadn’t cut one open I wouldn’t have ordered. It’s weird @CostaKapo dropped in here and seemed quite willing to engage and then just ghosted.

Been dealing with the motor oil shortage for the shops and our franchisees, which takes up a lot of the work day and has for a few months now. Not that I am not active on social (as evidence of my twitter) but I only pop in and out of here when my pings go off for our brand mentions

Hey Drew - I dont see any emails from you at all. I actually emailed you at [email protected] when your order came through because I was literally at Bald Head Island when the order came through.

I don't know what happened but I dont see any correspondence from you at all - email me [email protected] and I'd like to resolve it

Well, he just read this thread a few minutes ago. Hopefully he takes care of this.

The standard I can confirm on our spin-on filters (excluding the COF1 and COF40) is ISO 16949, which is the quality-management/manufacturing side rather than the filtration-efficiency side. I don't want to quote you 4548-12 efficiency or beta-ratio numbers I can't back up, so I've reached out directly to the factory to get a proper answer on whether the media was tested to ISO 4548-12. As soon as I hear back I'll post the specifics here. (and if its not 4548-12 I will get an answer to how they determined their #)
