Just curious if someone has tried a Costa filter. Specs seem good:

The Fram PH was shown to be 95% @ 20u on Fram's website, so they are stretching their claim in their ad.

If their claim of 98% @ 20u is true, that's good efficiency.

Here's a random model filter I clicked on. "7 Microns" compared to Frams "20 Microns" Not sure if they're trying to pull a marketing stunt or not since they don't reference the percentage. Are they really comparing them at the same percentages? It doesn't seem like it even though they're "comparing" them side by side.

Seems to good to be true ... a "race filter" with high flow and heavy duty can and silicone ADBV with 7u filtration (it's most likely at 50%, ie, meaning "nominal" since other info in post 1 says 98% @ 20u) for $4 each when a case of 10 with free shipping is bought.

COF2222 is $48/10. The stenciling/sticker looks like Chinese PGI standard duty to me. It would be $38.40 for 10, shipped, with the discount. I’m tempted to pull the trigger, but I keep thinking about those Chinese Pentius with the hanging chads.

2222 is my app as well. I spun through posts and there are some happy Pentius users. What's the story you heard on Pentius? Thanks

The Pentius PLXL10060s I’ve been using are great. They are South Korean. A few months ago, some Chinese Pentius showed up with poorly machined center tubes. They had small metal disks hanging from a few of the holes where they weren’t properly/completely punched out. I don’t have time to chase it down ATM, but a search should reveal the thread.

Just want to add in my 2cents from the CS field that the website screams ai vibe coded and ai written descriptions/blog from the terminology, to formatting to emojis to em dashes. Best to be vigilant since its easy to pop up random sites for harvesting peoples data.

I got the same too good to be true vibe from the website too. I plugged the address they give on the "store directory" page into Google maps. Not confidence inspiring. The carpet does not match the drapes, as it were.

112 Frederick Ave, Rockville, MD 20850 Unit F

Unit F is the one with the man door partially blurred by unit G being obscured. H and I are on the end. Poke around the street view and make of it what you will. Their website also lists 112 Frederick Ave, Rockville, MD 20850, omitting the unit F.
