Has anyone detailed a golf car?

I have a '98 Club Car DS in Red and want to really give it its first good glaze. I use AIO/SG on my Honda but never thought of doing anything to my cart. In fact, I'm not sure what the cart is made of or what kind of finish/paint they use. Does anyone have experience in doing more than just washing off golf carts?

I think they are fiberglass/gelcoat. I would think boat detailing products would work well on it although regular wax would probably work ok.
