Finally got to the district management level with the grievance. It came out totally in my favor. This level of management really put the jerk in his place. He did not get fired but, rather got I firm talking to right in front of me. God I was laughing inside. I stated word for word what this a*****e had been doing and saying to me to the district supervisor and had it documented. District Supervisor told him that his behavior will not be tolerated in the workplace. With everyone in the room I was told if any incident happens again that I'm to report him immediately. District Boss told the jerk that he was the offender and the monkey is on his back now. I could not hold back and made the comment, "It sure is a surprise to me how the Jerk had such a loud, rude mouth back at our workshop but, now that we were in front of higher authority he is not saying a word." Man this idiot started moving around in his chair and almost said something to sink himself deeper but, he caught himself just in time. I actually saw his lips part but, then like I said, he caught himself midstream. I guess time will tell if he can keep his big mouth shut and his hands to himself. I just feel awhole lot better now about standing up for myself. A note to the ones here that told not to rock the boat: I could not live with myself if I acted like a coward in this situation. My father instilled in me that a man should have a spine and stick up for one's self!
