Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all of the Mothers out there. This is the day when we need to show appreciation for Mothers and Grandmothers for all that they do!

I'm not sure how many there are here on BITOG - but i'm sure there are several. And all of you guys reading this - whatever you do, don't you dare forget to tell your Mother and/or Grandmother what she means to you and how much you care.

You family guys (i'm one too) - make sure you include the kids in this! Make sure they do something special for their mother.

Just because we might be obsessive/compulsive oil freaks doesn't mean that we don't care!

Also - a gift or show of appreciation doesn't hurt either...

P.S. - Mothers usually aren't impressed with gifts like Oil, Oil Filters, etc. I know - I know, doesn't make sense to me either but what can you do...

I cooked my wife a hot breakfast (local produce from farmer's market) and I also cooked her a roast lamb dinner with potatoes and sour cream & chives, and a greek salad.

we don't do cards; she says she is OK with that.

I just gave my mom flowers. My parents get mad if I buy them presents. When I do give them presents, they yell, "WHY WASTE YOUR MONEY!". Last year I gave my mom a $100 gift card, she threw the card at me and told me to stop wasting money and that I'm stupid.

Better half was most forceful this year that she is not my mother (wonder if there was an alternate message ).

Children made cards, and bought gifts, made heaps more gifts, loved, and were loved.
