Just interesting none mentioned bar USDA organic which isn't organic. Here you can't advertise organic produce/food without the organic certification, but then we do have the toughest food standards in the world. The downside is not one single organic certifier but that is being fixed.

Yeah, our fool standards are pretty low.

No offence to anyone here

But Australian beef is the worst stuff you can buy in the U.S.

All the super markets sell it to people who know nothing about steak. They see red meat and think steak!

I am sure Australia has it's own beef rateing system. . . (I hope)

I am sure they just ship the [censored] over here!

USDA choice is the lowest I can go. (its all personal choice)

Kobe is great if its a quality, fresh piece of meat. If your waiter is asking you how you would like it cooked, its not a quality kobe.

That burger place looks good. I would give some of there burgers a try. Just the wording "Australian beef" on the menu is turning me off of it because of what that means around here!!!

High quality beef comes from Hawaii in the US(grass feed free roaming). Air, water and climate all organic(extremely ideal). In fact Texas sends their own studs here, Parker Ranch raises them as calves and ships them out, mostly to Texas(cost effective). Texas has a high mortality rate on their calves. They are raised in Texas there after.

Many don't know this but the first cattle and largest ranch was the Parker Ranch. I believe they where couple of months ahead of Texas. Hawaii wasn't in the union at the time but still interesting if you think about it.

I've had the one pound Fuddrucker burger a few times. It's not hard to eat when I'm feeling hungry, but as I near the end I definitely get a little tired of eating so much of the same thing. The 2/3 pound is about right for me.

No I'm not. I knew it! Australian food in the USA is [censored]. Dry, old, nasty [censored] at that. Lousy meat, lousier produce. I don't doubt the food in Aus is fine, but I have to admit when there is AUS or CHINA on the label ~ NO thanks, mate. (for different reasons of course)

We usually buy beef from a local store, Ranch Foods Direct, that sells product from local ranches in CO. It's almost the same price as mass produced USDA choice beef in the big supermarket, but OH MY GOD is it good. Especially the flat iron cuts.

Pablo the buyer sets the quality required, not the producer but I'm sure you know that. U.S buyers asked Australia to provide meat to their standard (for hamburgers only) which we did and supplied 243,000 tons last year. Japan on the other hand wanted the best and as much Wagyu as we could supply, but they pay big bucks for it. All off topic anyway.

No, but that's easily fixed.

Just slap a shockingly high price tag onto each individual veggie. This will instantly improve the taste, while also allowing you to strut around, confident in the knowledge that you are now in the company of the culinary elite.

Exactly!

Oh, some of the home grown veggies grow into really weird shapes and sizes. The organic weenies LOVE that at the farmers market. They command an even higher price!
