Guy Wins $273M Lottery After Divorce

Imho, regardless how long they knew each other before getting married, the lady made poor choice tying her life with him.
The guy should/would keep his winnings as marriage was formally over, but she should've stopped supporting him financially and possibly get some alimony money back from him.
Wondering if the guy gave anything to the store attendant as a 'thank you' and if he still has any money left.
And, there should be no taxes on lotto or gambling winnings; in Canada there are no taxes on winnings.
I'd understand if the guy had a disability that prevented him from keeping jobs but it doesn't sound like that.

I'd doubt that he's smart enough to escape with the funds safely hidden and any third party he goes to for assistance will recognize this and rob him blind.
He can have fun while the lawyers get all the money, he's left with a big bill, no money, no job, or right back where he started, nothing
