Gun cleaning day

I have a ton to clean and organize
Not a fan of the drama as I have done a million in the past while I know many who enjoy it...
I did as well long ago...

Your H key is probably borked. Try hitting it repeatedly in a text file or a keyboard testing web page. It's also close to the G. Both seem to trigger the backslash and are likely on the same hardware path as the backslash.

I'm thirty years behind the times with handguns, for obvious reasons, so just humour me guys.

Parker Hale 009 is the solvent i preferred. Little drop of Parker Hale gun oil where needed. One of those miracle cloths for removing the carbon on cylinder faces.

Yes, experience, not AI. Th\e ammo being\ penetrated is not th\at big\ of a deal, as long\ as you rotate your ammo. In oth\er words, train with\ th\e load you carry, cycling\ your normal carry mag load, and refreshing\ th\e mag\ with\ new ammo. Some do not do th\is, th\ey keep th\e same ammo for years. And wh\ile quality ammo is g\enerally pretty sealed, the intended use of a carry g\un....it needs to work 100%. I h\ave done month\s long\ test with\ ammo submerg\ed in water, and WD40, and h\ad mixed results with\ different ammo. One test, I put 3 rounds of standard steel case, AK ammo in a bag\ with\ WD40, and after a year, if worked fine. Same test, done with\ ball brass 9mm, mag\tech\ I th\ink......1 of 3 did not fire. Lube build up on ammo and mag\s is not th\e g\reatest th\ing\ ever.

G\enerally wh\en reassembling\ a g\un, one does not use th\e same rules of muzzle awareness as th\ey would if th\ey were h\andling\ th\e g\un as normal. Add a neg\lig\ent live round into th\e mix,=bad. Every owners manual I h\ave ever seen, states to remove all ammo from th\e work space wh\ile working\ on th\e gun.

But do as you please.

Yes, I spilled coffee on it. I ha\ve been deleting\ about h\alf of th\e slash\ marks.
My friend. Please stop
