I was actually more interested in knowing whether or not there was anything to be gained by using it. Since the gas vapor does not travel down the valve opening in a DI engine I didn't see how it could prevent or clean valve deposits. Also, with top tier fuels and an injector pressure of nearly 3,000 PSI I wasn't sure there was any need from an injector cleaning standpoint.
It is pretty cheap insurance if used a couple of times a year, though.
