Probably somebody screwed up and put PEA on the MSDS back awhile ago. The people who make these MSDS sheets up are NOT chemists. They are typically quality control and logistics/shipping people. They MIGHT have a chemist look them over. Maybe.
So, why give away their secret (PEA) on their MSDS if they didn't need to, especially since PEA is not in any way patentable? No need to. Someone wised up and took it off their MSDS to help secure their intellectual property....for whatever that's worth in this case.
