If jk_636 is talking about how Purolator is cutting media, then I need to start eating crow. If he is talking about how some folks are cutting open the filters then they should be able to open one without destroying evidence. That is why I bought a filter cutter. This makes a clean and safe cut.
Just to let you know, there are certain people here who think nobody can operate a filter cutter to open a filter without tearing the media during the cutting process. They think that all the reported torn Purolators over the last 1-1/2+ years were all "self induced" during the cutting process. That's why I came up with this message quite a while ago to poke fun at it all.
