The Flex is considered different from the oscillating DA buffers because it is a forced rotation machine. However, it certainly can do everything the DA buffers can do but it is about double the price.

How's it going all? I've used Griot's products for a couple of years and have had really good results. However, I've found that I needed a little more aggressive polish. For that, I use 3M's Finesse-It II Machine Polish and get excellent results. Otherwise, Griot's machine polishes do well with a DA. I also use Griot's 6" and 3" DAs and have had no issues.
