I went to grease the spindles on my lawn mower deck and saw an ounce of oil drip out the end of my grease gun. A steady trail on the concrete before I noticed the mess. Seems like separation to me. It's general purpose Valvoline grease. My only uses are for the mower, wheelbarrow and a few fittings on my Alfa. I guess I should pitch this stuff, clean the gun and reload???

Yeah, I just did that today with a tube of supertech grease. Put in a tube of the Valvoline F-L-M Moly grease. Ive read somewhere that what I was supposed to do was pull the spring back so that the grease isnt loaded while stored and I hadnt been doing that. Ill do that now.

No pump out a glob until you get to the good stuff....you aren't greasing the landing gear on a 747
