Hello, first time poster long time reader here. I've been thinking about switching over to Schaeffer's 274 grease. If I'm not mistaken the aluminum mixes well with many other grease types? I've been using fleet farm grease which I think is lithium based and Mystik JT-6. I will mostly be using it for greasing tractors, lawnmowers and car wheel bearings... etc. I was wondering if this is a good choice. I also have the JT-6 available along with Shell retinax lx2 and Amsoil multi-purpose grease

Thanks in advance

Aluminum complex grease is compatible with lithium complex grease: http://www.finalube.com/reference_material/grease_compatibility_chart.htm

Any of those greases will work fine. While Schaeffer's is probably 'better' than the Fleet Farm, Mystik, Retinax LX2 & Amsoil, it doesn't sound like you have an application what requires it. That is, you're probably fine staying with whichever if your current greases is easiest & cheapest to get.
