Here is a excellent graph showing US oil exports and well as other variables. It also shows production figures and other things. The interesting thing is how net imports went to zero but there is still plenty of importation of oil ( most of which comes from Canada). Enjoy. PS Its 2019 Pre-C data.

Here is another chart showing that as oil production increased in the USA , oil imports from OPEC went downward. Oil imports from Canada continued to increase. Canada displaced OPEC as the largest source of imported crude oil in about 2014.

The rest of the growing world will consume what OPEC and the Persian Gulf states produce.

Care about, climate, war, politics, etc., or not, reducing consumption on a personal level (home, vehicles, etc) is prudent, IMO.

Here is a plot of US crude exports updated to Sept of last year. The crude oil traders use the Gretzky Doctrine. Skate to wear the puck's going, not where it is right now. Lower crude exports from the USA will just increase the price of crude oil.

Thanks for posting, makes for interesting plotting and analysis.

I'm fairly certain we'll see those figures change drastically beginning with this year, once the data is available.
