So my 2015 Chrysler T&C is now sporting a set of Continental ControlContact Tour A/S from Discount Tire. These are their version of the TrueContact. All the exact same specs, slightly different tread.

The van came with mismatched tires and I wanted a good A/S tire with winter coming up. From what I could find, this seemed to be the best tire out there. I can't wait to see what it can do.

The initial impressions are they have a great feel. I feel connected to the road without any harshness. They seem more responsive than the previous combination of bridgestone turanzas and kumhos. They are more quiet. I haven't experienced rain yet with these.

After my procontacts wear out ima get me a set of the true contacts. I had a set of them on my old 2010 impala and they were amazing in the wet and snow.

Looks good. If you can believe what you read that tread pattern should have more directional stability due to the more solid center tread rib.

I've noticed a lot of tire brands running the center rib now. My latest set of Kumho tires just installed on my truck are like that.

The edges of the water channels seem to have that new edge "texture"
IIRC- that helps with snow traction.
-it looks like tiny zigzag
