Got my QuickJacks.

It is a challenge to get a vehicle up onto a set of Rhino ramps on a smooth garage floor. In other words, the vehicle will push the ramps ahead of it instead of driving up on them. If you are feeling really dangerous you could drive up them quickly but risk a ramp shooting out from under the front of the car. If you are lucky and get to the top and hit the brakes, the whole vehicle and ramps will slide forward and skid to a stop. I use Rhino ramps now but only on the poured rough concrete driveway.
Put an old towel under the ramps if you want them to stay put.

What quick jacks did you get? man these look like a game changer vs luging out that floor jack

I ordered the 8000TL they sent the 8000TLX. I will have to send them back. I just noticed it this morning. It won't fit the Corvette. I checked my receipt and I did in fact order the 8000TL.

Scratch my last. I can use the 8000TLX on the Corvette. I can just slide them in side ways. I just checked, bunch of C6 folks use them that way because the rest of the their cars are longer. So even better as I have the longs ones for the trucks and Caprice. QuickJack (Bendpak) says it is ok too.

Found a bunch like this on the web. Found this one on the Corvette Forum. I am good with it.

I am starting to think it was blessing as the I don't think the other ones would have worked well for the Caprice. It is a big car.

Does Bendpak say that? I wanted to try that on my E70, which was just a hair too long to fit my 5000TL with the extensions, but never tried it. (Also the E70 was right around 5,000lbs so I thought it would probably be wise not to)

Nice and not horribly expensive.
Would be a real convenience as opposed to ramps or jackstands and probably safer as well.

I did look at those but I love that I can get the vehicle all the way off the ground.
Agreed, 90% of the appeal of the Quickjack is for changing wheels and tires, or working on suspension (for me at least, I need snow tires so I change a lot of tires all the time)
