In the Garage...
They were an easy setup and I find them easy to use. They give plenty of clearance. My only complaint is they are a little heavy to position, but not a deal breaker. These ones will lift the trucks. I like them better than using a jack. For me it is a game changer for doing the work i do.

THANKS for sharing! I have been kicking around getting one of these for one of my empty bays as it would be cheaper than adding an additional lift and I think when my lifts are full having this is perfect for simple jobs that are easier on the lift but don't have to be high in the air. Also I could move it when needed.

Looks nice!

I am tired of fooling around with jacks, jackstands, ramps and want some type of lift. About once every week or so I have something on a ramp or up off the ground. I like the lifts you bought but I am concerned they will get in the way when not in use.

70x12x3 doesn't sound like much until I am stepping over both of them constantly. Where do you store yours? Do you just keep them in the center of the garage floor and park over top of them when they are not in use?

The Holden flag takes me back to 2012-2014 when I was tech in Australia. I was technically their imported Volvo tech but the amount of Holdens needing work kept me busy working on the GM junk.

I bought quick jack the week I left the dealership and love using them for car detailing and tire rotations at home. Super easy to tuck under the car when done too.

It is a challenge to get a vehicle up onto a set of Rhino ramps on a smooth garage floor. In other words, the vehicle will push the ramps ahead of it instead of driving up on them. If you are feeling really dangerous you could drive up them quickly but risk a ramp shooting out from under the front of the car. If you are lucky and get to the top and hit the brakes, the whole vehicle and ramps will slide forward and skid to a stop. I use Rhino ramps now but only on the poured rough concrete driveway.

I will eventually hang them up when not in use, but leaving them on the floor is an option, just slide them together and park over top of them.

They can be stepped and parked over easily, unless you also use the bay for other things. I’m probably working with wood or fixing an appliance or mower 4x as often as working on the car, so I’d want to store them somewhere. But if most of what I did was car related, they tuck under well.

Nussbaum mid-rise scissor?

Yup exactly...hitting the stop at the top induces more slide especially on coated asphalt

What quick jacks did you get? man these look like a game changer vs luging out that floor jack

Yeah, I have had a 5000TL for a few years now, and I originally pushed them out of the way. Finally I just left them in the garage floor and pushed them together and realized that that is the way to do it! I don't ever unhook the hydraulic fittings (which always get your hands dirty if you have to touch them) and I never have to walk over them again unless I'm working in the garage without the car in there.
