My monthly payment to Google Fi wireless averages about $115 per month. I don't have a contract, and I "brought my own phone". Part of my monthly fee is the international roaming plan. It was reported T-mobile runs the Googe Fi International roaming plan, and that is what motivated me to Google Fi. T-Mobile is arguably the best international roaming provider (from the Duetsch Telecom roots).

Woke up this Friday morning to find this in my e-mail. Google Fi is correct- I never read their "Terms of Service".

Your international data roaming will be suspended soon
Fi's Terms of Service require you to use our service primarily in the United States (territories not included), and it looks like you've been predominantly using Fi abroad. To avoid suspension of your international data in 30 days, here's what you can do:

Start using Fi for at least 1 week in the United States again (territories not included) within the next 30 days. Failure to do so will force us to suspend your international roaming data capabilities. Your calls and texts won't be impacted.

What a rip off. "You can use it but don't use it." Why advertise international if they cut you off?

I think all companies are like that, though how much roaming they will permit varies. If you spend continuous weeks or months in another country you need to buy service from a local company. Buy only a data plan then VoIP and VPN everything.

AT&T does consider Puerto Rico and I think the other territories as "home" in the US the same as the 50 states.

International roaming is expensive, Fi is one of the lowest (if not the lowest cost way) to get international service. It's meant for someone who occasionally travels internationally. I've used it all over the world but only 7-10 days at a time.

If you use Google Fi outside the United States for an extended period of time (usually 50 days), you’ll receive a warning email and notification in the Google Fi app. Your international data will be suspended 30 days after you receive the email (your account stays active). You can avoid suspension by returning to the US and using data for at least a week. Usage abroad shortly after avoiding suspension may cause you to get the warning email more quickly next time you’re abro

So, use it more at home and they wont care?
premium is 100GB data at full speed.

Also if you bring your own phone you are missing out.
right now they have the s26 ultra 512GB (1499.99) for $649
I going to do that and sell the pixel 10 pro xl.. (bestbuy offers $500) or I can deal with FB buyers.
you only have to have service for 4 months to keep the discount.
after that its yours.
