I use Google Chrome on a windows 10 computer, and when I click on Google Chrome icon to initially open Chrome to start using it, a small white rectangle appears in the bottom right hand side of the screen. If I right click on that small white rectangle a list of options appears and I then click on maximize to open up Google Chrome.

For about a week now, every day the small white rectangle that I click on after I click on the Google Chrome icon, appears smaller and smaller every day. About a week ago the white rectangle use to be about an inch and a quarter long, and now it is down to about half an inch long.

Is there a fix that I can do to prevent the white rectangle from getting any smaller?

Try this:

Go to Chrome on the start menu, Right Click on the icon, choose "more" then open file location.

Right click on the shortcut for Chrome and choose properties,
Note what it says in the RUN line. Probably minimized.

Choose Normal Window and click apply, then OK. Click ok or continue if you get an Administrator window.
