Just wondering if anyone here has any experience with the new goodyear duratrac. Im looking for a new set of 285-75-16's for my 2003 f250 and these look like a pretty mean tire. I checked tirerack reviews and one person loves them and the next hates them...some people wrote in they wouldnt buy the tire again due to weak sidewalls?????? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I would pick one of the top 3 of All-Terrain tires in the Tire-rack customer survey: Bridgestone Dueler A/T REVO 2, Firestone Destination A/T or Michelin LTX A/T 2. Michelin and Firestone are made in US, Bridgestone is made in Canada.

I was looking for a more aggressive all terrain thread patters than the firestone or bridgestone. The duratrac caught my eye.. also the dunlop maxx traction. Most of my driving is on the highway's but i do get into some mud and snow regularly

I have them on my 99 Durango. I studded them up for winter use. They are beyond awesome in the snow. The wife even noticed the difference and trust me, that's a big deal. Grip on muddy dirt roads is outstanding but haven't put them in any deep mud yet and probably wont.
