Another sad day. Mike helped give them their classic sound. While stationed in the PI, I owned a Firebird and right before going on leave, my cassette of “Days of Future Past” got stuck in the car’s cassette player putting it on a constant loop. I let a guy on my team borrow the car while I was gone and when I returned he said I ruined their music for him since he couldn’t turn it off.

It looks as though originally it was a Rolling Stones song "The Last Time " and was performed by Andrew Oldham Orchestra .
The Verve sampled it , added lyrics and named it " Bitter Sweet Symphony " Love The Song
