Typically oils like this work better in the real world vs the oils on paper w/o VII's in regards to all around longetivity and protection in a variety of motors and conditions speaking of...
Lately there's been more behind the scenes chatter than forum posted talk about two popular brands supposedly w/o VII's and the start noise and poor fuel mileage and rough running when cold from their use .
Not finicky vs finicky and must be used in perfect engines and conditions to get a good analysis comes to mind concerning another brand ..... or two
