Besides NuFinish , what other good store-bought cleaner polish / waxes are available which are fairly easy to use ? Daughter's newer Corolla sits under trees at school , so I need a good cleaner polish / wax to clean the finish then protect it for as long as possible ... If NuFinish is the best at what I need - then so be it ... I just thought I would ask about newer options which have some paint cleaning as well as polish / wax capability .

You should consider using a clay mitt before you polish and wax as it will help the wax last longer. The diamond in the rough product in my research is Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Polish & Wax. It does very good on Youtube videos.

I had good experience with California Gold Carnauba by Mother's.
As for sap, wet paper towel with WD-40 and let it sit over affected area for a few mins, then just wipe off.
Personally, when I want paint clean I use dish soap, rinse well after>dry>wax.

I will wash and clay the vehicle first before using a cleaner / wax combo . I found that Meg’s makes a cleaner / wax in the maroon bottle but NuFinish may be better ? I was not aware if TW had something to offer as a cleaner /wax combo ?

2 methods-

Wash
Isopropyl alcohol and/ or acetone for sap
clay
cleaner wax (Megs or Mother's is fine for off the shelf... 30 days protection tops.)

Wash
IPA and/ or acetone for sap
clay
Meguiar's Ultimate Compound (for heavy cleaning) or Ultimate Polish (for light cleaning)
Finish off with a dedicated wax or sealant of your choice... much longer protection.

I stopped doing this stuff by hand in 2006 and I've never looked back. Porter-Cable dual action used with a Lake country orange pad and Meguiars Ultimate Compound (It's not very aggressive for a compound, which allows me to skip the polish ) followed up with Collinite 845, maintained with Beadmaker as of drying aid has worked well for me for years.

Meguiars cleaner wax. Sort of like an All-In-One product. It brought back clarity and gloss to my Black Xterra's paint after I hand polished it with megs polish. Adds some good protection as well.

StarBrite Boat/Marine Polish. It is my new "Go-To". Works great on vehicle finishes. Easy one and off. Stellar shine and appearance. I am biased as it is made and packaged in my home state of Alabama at their Montgomery facility.
