Today I stopped by a local O'Reilly to browse. I noticed they had Synthetic Havoline for 4.19 a quart. Is this a good price for this product. My next oil is fast approaching and I figure. I should ask the experts here. Thanks for any responses.

That's a decent deal for this oil. It was seen throughout many Big Lots stores at one time for 3.89. Doesn't get much cheaper than that.

I'll have to stop by one here and look. I think it's great oil, using my last 4 qt now in fact.

Actually, when it was in Big Lots it was $3.00/quart. I have one right next to me with the price tag still on it. I bought ~24 quarts.

The current deal from Autozone and Advance with 5 quarts of Valvoline Synth and a Fram filter (I know....) for $23.99 is a little better, if you need the filter. Assume the filter costs $5.00, each quart will run you under $4.00 each.

Still, $4.19 a quart for Havy Syn isn't too bad considering there aren't too many oil deals nowadays.

My local O'Reillys did not carry Havoline. Interestingly enough they did have some good deals on Castrol Syntec; It was around 4.00$ a quart.

The only weights they had were 10w30, 10w40, and tons of 5w-50 with a 01 date code, and marked as API SJ.

I went back to the O'Reilly. Last night, I bought 6Qts. I had them order 6 more Qts of 5-30 Havoline Synthetic. Would it be possible to run this oil for 7500 miles. Or would it be ok to run it for 5000 mi intervals.
