I've used the AC Delco PF 1127's also, cut a few open and they're well made standard design Champion filters, not the e-core design.

I use the Eao20 filter with excellent results. I think that once you try this filter, you will not be satisfied with any other.

I use an EAO too on a Honda Odyssey. I am on the second oil change on the same filter and will post UOA results when it is done. I did a particle count at 2K miles and 6K Miles. The results came back very good, and this is on a break in engine (Engine had 7K and 11K on the two particle counts).

They Amsoil Eao is pricey, but you really can change it every other oil change. I plan to get at least 1 year/ 13K miles out of mine. There have been some reports here that the microglass filtration really has an advantage.

I am not an Amsoil dealer by the way. I only bought the filter because I liked their oil, I used K&N oil filters in the past. The K&N filers well too, and if you have a clearance issue the 1 inch nut makes it easy to remove.

Sounds like you made a good choice. Yeah, you can't beat the price on those. Fleetfilter.com is a sponsor here. If you haven't bought it already, give them a shot. They have very good prices.

I have some pics posted in a thread here w/various Honda filter sizes inc the Wix. Last filter I bought was a Fram TG, that's for extended use w/GC. Usually I go with Supertech.

Just out of boredom, here's a size comparison of various filters for our cars:

You mentioned Purolator and Wix. Both are great. You couldn't go wrong with either. And their prices are good as well.

I came across these (they are made in Malaysia), has anyone ever seen these and do you know if they are an OK filter? Was gonna go with the wix however they don't have flutes (so my filter wrenches won't work)! I can get the for $3 each.

I use Hyundai OEM filters for my Honda. They are excellent quality and a perfect fit.

If I don't have one available, I use the Wix 51334 or supertech ST3593a.
