As I noted in the "Who got their convertible out today" thread, got the Mustang out from under its cover and found that that I apparently left the door ajar enough all winter to discharge the battery. Got it going and took it to the dealer for "The Works" in which they assured me the battery was fine....until today. Went out and it was deader than a door nail. Both my load tester and my smart charger told me it was a goner too. So, got on line for the damage. Managed to get a AutoCraft Gold thanks to code ccabin for $65.92 out the door, installed in less than 15 minutes. AAP online is great.

Nothing wrong with that. They are my default option. I have had mixed luck with Wal Mart though. Those are the only two out of eight Wal Mart batteries that I have purchased that have not had to be returned at least once. AAP is now first choice because 1) better warranty and 2) can't beat the price with the codes.
