Good Cell Phone Wanted

I'm looking for a good cell phone. I've used so many phones I don't know if I'll drop cellphones for good or not.

I need a phone that will be a PHONE... don't need Mp3 players, video abilities, blah blah. Just a PHONE.

I've used: Motorola V3 & V330 & V195, Nokia brick phones in the 90s (best phones ever) & 8800 (worst phone ever), Samsung T509, etc...

Well, you get the idea - I've used a lot of phones and the biggest problem = the earpiece is so quiet I can't hear anything unless I'm in a quiet room.

I'm currently using the Motorola V195 and it has been the best phone I've used yet. Unfortunately, due to cheap construction it is dying on me.

Anyone have a suggestion for my next phone? I talk for about 3 hours a day (work mostly) on my cell. Looking for a great phone that I can HEAR out of. Oh, and I use T-Mobile so sim chip phone.

I found myself in the same situation - there is too much extra crud on them. It's tough to find a simple phone. I guess people are trained to desire features - the more the better. My Nokia 6102 has WAY too much.
I'm shopping for another c-phone today, and if I find something suitable, I'll buy it and let you know.

I've been using a Motorola V262 for a couple of years now and have never had any problems with it. No camera etc., just a good phone.

the nokia brick has superior battery life and reception to every other phone Ive tried except for my ericsson r520m.

the razr was the best prone i ever had. rock solid reliability, clear crisp audio and long battery life. i even briefly got it splashed with saltwater ocne and it kept working.
one day i went out wave blasting and forgot the razr and my wallet were in my pockets. half hour later and a drenched me came out of the water and realise all was lost. sadly my razr departed me forever.
now im using a cheap morotola v(something) flip phone i got from my sister uintill i can find a good replacment for my razr. im thinking the razr v3c would be neat, but i think the next generation of all in 1 phones is just around the corner.
im one of those techy types who loves the bells and whistles of a good mobile phone so i may stick to this used phone untill something new comes out.
maybe the next generation blackberry would be neat.

My company switched to Sprint 2 years ago. Stupid Sanyo VI2300 phone I've been stuck with couldn't pull a signal out of it's own butt if it was a greased string.
I miss my Verizon LG phone.

I have an older Audiovox CDM8900 that you're welcome to have for free. It's a Verizon phone, and it's worked great since i've owned it. Has an extended battery that lasted quite a while. I was just going to donate it since I got a new phone, but if you use Verizon you can have it

Let me know. Has the charger too.
Edit: I see you use T-Mobile, that's what I use now too, and I really like the razr, maybe you could give that a shot

It's nothing fancy really, but it gets the job done and it's really easy to fit in your pocket.

My sister jumped into a pool with her razr in her pocket and it was underwater for a good 5 minutes before she noticed it was there. Just took a hair dryer to it and replaced the battery and it's been working like new. That thing gets so beat up, and it's getting pretty old too. I have a razr too and I like it, I just wish the audio was louder sometimes. It's also a little laggy when sending text messages but I can't complain, it still works great.

If you want a simple but good phone, get a Nokia 6030. Not many features, great battery life and reception.
