I don’t know anything about football 🏈 lol. Everyone I know is saying Rams. I don’t know, we aren’t watching the game so whoever wins good game. For me watching football is like watching paint dry but if it’s for you then that’s fine. If it was the World Series then heck yeah I’d be rooting for a team lol. Never have watched a Super Bowl. I’ll probably be out shopping like usual.

I can see someone saying Football is boring....In fact Superbowls usually are boring because the teams are playing to Not Lose instead of playing to Win.
But to make a case for Baseball?

As someone in STL that felt the NFL and Kroenke did us dirty, I was rooting for the Bengals.

I think the line on the game was Rams by 4.5, so those who took the 4 points and Cincy got paid. Rams didn't cover.

However, one of the better games I've seen in February in the past few years.

Thank god I didn't watch it, turned the channel when the half-time show started and back when it was over.
I have almost always skipped the half-time shows. No matter what it is. Hell, that is time for a needed break for most humans who are sitting in for a 3-4 hour boob tube bender. I been watching SuperBowl since Game #1 (old fart, I know). I was a teen. I and every kid I grew up with were all sports addicts. We had no social media, cell phones or video games.

I bet the money line instead of taking the points on the Bengal's.
On the Rams winning drive near the goal line the refs threw enough flags to insure the Rams won.
It stinks.
It stinks as much as the half time show, well maybe not that much.
I guess the half time show was geared to the kids that spend money on that trash not old guys like me that don't spend a dime on music.

If the teams are at all close in talent, the outcome will be determined by the refs. It's crazy to bet on that stuff.

Straight Outta Compton was released in 1988. Most of Dre and Snoop's original fans are now in their 50's.

Hip-hop and rap have been mainstream for 30 years.

But yeah, it's "trash" for the kids.

They don't actually pay the artists to appear at halftime although they help cover the cost of the show so it's basically mostly washed up acts that show up to boost their old catalog sales.

And that is what happened this year, in your opinion?
I didn't really give an opinion. I mean Lady Gaga and Katy Perry might not be completely washed up, but it wasn't like they stopped touring just to do the Superbowl and I suppose they could come back. The fact that the Superbowl doesn't pay just means they attract a certain kind of artist. You never really have an artist in their prime showing up.
