A Co-worker wants to know what oil filter to use.
I told Her to stay away from Fram. She shops at Auto Zone. without spending to much money?

Thank you.

Wavinwayne,

What's your high $$$ choice at Autozone? Or is there one there?

I think Auto Zone carries AC and Value Craft, in addition to Fram. I think the Value Craft is made by Purolator and a good filter for the money, or maybe that is the Total Grip at advance Auto. In the past, Champion had a great following here, but there are mixed reports of their new Ecore design. The negative people may simply distrust anything new or inexpensive. My Chevy truck gets a ST 3950 from Wal-Mart, $2.07.

Sorry Dave!

The ACs, Wixes and Motorcrafts are the best buys in the industry. You don't need those high percentages of micro-filtration & an emptier wallet with passenger vehicles doing regular OCIs.

Good to know.

To bad no one sells them here.

Would be a good laugh to go into a ford dealer and ask for a GM vehicle filter.

Yea, too bad the AC delco in Canada are not the same as the states or I would do the same.

I stick to Quaker State filters for mine seeing they are just a rebadged Purolator Premium Plus.
