Ditto the cheap parts/construction. I see new and one or two year old GM cars on a daily basis and I just have to shake my head at the shoddy construction, el-cheapo materials.

My Subaru just passed its 100K inspection with flying colors, 100K GM cars are getting $2000 overhauls in our shop, lmao.

It's funny how mine has > 135K VERY HARD, (abusive even) miles on it and has NEVER needed a "$2000.00 overhaul".

But bash on all you want, I'll keep right on driving, and enjoying my ride, and beating your sacred import nameplates.

Say what you want about Subaru head gasket's, I'll just say that I see 2007-08 Saturn Outlook's getting new transmissions under warranty, I guess the Mexicans build a quality tranny, lol.

Maybe that was part of GM's problem, warranty cost replacing junk parts, that must've put a hurtin' on'em.
