I am racing a Porsche 944 which specs a GL 4 lube. Currently i am using Redline MT90 and it has been OK as far as i can tell. Car has a limited slip and factory transmission lube cooler. I have been concerned that the MT90 is relatively thin...Would I be better off with another GL 4 lube like Amsoil MTG or should i try a GL 5 lube in a heavier grade? I know plenty of people who have run GL 5 in theses cars for years, never a problem with them.
