Finally got the Husqvarna 322 L weed wacker going after a 5yr nap. Wrassen frassen starter pawl disappeared when I was re-plumbing the broken fuel lines. Then I finished re-assembling the handle and R front wheel on Lawnboy 7073 push mower that was mended with sheet metal and 3/16 rivets where the deck had rusted out. Started easily once I put the wire on the plug. I even found some green rattle can paint. But that is going to wait for a warmer day. The 42" Craftsman's battery survived the winter and it started easily. Now all I need is some grass to mow.

I started about 3 weeks late this year. Just mowed for the first time this season yesterday. It was overdue. Wife fired up her Stihl FS45 & I fired up the Craftsman Pro 42" but I use sta-bil with battery tenders on all my stuff. What year is your LawnBoy?

Was recently given a 2009 Lawn Boy Model# 10641 Serial# 29XXXXXXX by a cousin who was moving. Looks to be clean and in good shape overall.

Was told it ran fine when last used couple years ago, wouldn't start so I'll have to dump the gas and clean the carburetor. Provided I get it running then I'll look at additional maintenance needed.

I still haven't started my John Deere mower restoration project in earnest yet, but I plan to begin this weekend. I haven't even mowed grass myself at my new place since moving in mid-March. I've paid a guy to mow it for the last 2 weeks because I've been too busy with moving in, getting everything sorted, and working full time an hour's drive from home.

This was a bad spring for me. Started the tractor to remove the FEL and install the belly mower and spot a hydraulic leak from 1 of the hoses. $72 later put hose on, install belly mower and half way through the back yard start hearing a loud squeak, Right side deck spindle is to hot to touch, $85 later and a lot of 4 letter words I replace both bearings, upper and lower seals and a cracked tension ring. Go back to mowing and the rear offset tow behind mower starts stalling on hills. $30 later I rebuild the carb, replace the fuel filter and spark plug. Its officially a record, it took 2 weeks to cut the lawn and I have not even tried to start the trimmer or blower yet.:(

I stopped mowing my lawn for a few years and had a lawn guy. After I resodded my lawn guy wouldn't show up so I had to dust off my mower and trimmer. My little Honda engine would only run on full choke and surged awful. I've never heard a mower backfire until then. Eventually I had to clean the carb. The trimmer fired right up even with 3 year old fuel but the fuel lines rotted. I had used trufuel in it. It worked pretty good until I bought an edger attachment. The trimmer was so weak it wouldn't edge the grass. I think I burned it up trying. Had to replace that. It was a cheap troybilt that was 10 years old.

Everything started easy this spring, but the rider had a flat tire that now has a slow leak. The deck is also going to need some love pretty soon in the form of some spindle bearings and maybe some new blades. I hate buying blades as they just get chewed up so fast due to my rough back pasture and mole hills
