Getting stuff off youtube

Had a Firefox extension that would allow me to see a youtube vid, and once watched put it on my PC to look at when I wanted.

Youtube have upgraded beyond that.

What can I use now ?

UnPlug is a great extension for downloading YouTube videos. You need a flash player like Wimpy FLV Player to watch the downloads.

Tidbit for linux users, youtube videos are spooled to the /tmp directory. Simply move the file from /tmp to your home directory and add a .swf extension.
