This weekend will be a busy one for me! I'm doing the Cam follower in my A4 2.0T, and the 40k tune up on my 2.5 (only 5k miles late lol) I got all sorts of goodies in the mail, including 12L of LM goodness. I've been a Valvoline guy for a while now, and my Jetta has had Valvoline the Past 4 oil changes - and the Audi has been getting Castrol.

I plan on running a used oil analysis on the Valvoline to see how it holds up. It's the whipping child of 5w-40 on BITOG it seems, and I'm hoping to get some good results. I've never been a big SOPUS fan. Personal preference really, but I'm hoping to have some data to justify my love affair with Valvoline.

Anyway - on to the goodness! sorry [censored] cell pics - but I'm going to take some pics this weekend of all the fun!

Agree.. Sounds like a fun job! :D

I showed the wife the torque spec on the high pressure fuel pump on the A4. The spec is 7-10ft lb and mine starts at 20ft lb. Looks like I get to make a trip to sears!

They were really good to me actually - we ordered parts for 2 cars so they even called to confirm the order. Nice guys, they are my new oil guys. I'm likely sticking with LM in the Audi - but may go back to Synpower in the Jetta. I do love Valvoline and we will see what my used oil analysis shows.

I will decide in 4000 miles haha.

Thanks.

I have a bunch of GC but after my stock is depleted I am thinking about switching to LM or Pentosyn.

I'll post a used oil analysis from my 2.0T (FSI) and 2.5 I5 after I run the LM for a little while.

I'm debating if I want to go with Blackstone or somewhere else.

dont know SOPUS until you try and run a used oil analysis =P

and i would be really interested in seeing alot of the internal pics of the vee dubs.

We custom made a larger intake manifold:

The VR6 is a narrow angle V motor - with the banks separated by only 15 degrees - allowing the use of one head.

I have hundreds if you want to browse my albums feel free to. Just a small sampling to fulfill your request!

Could this be foreshadowing to a future project .....
