German Castrol Still Available - USA ?

what makes you think there is an additive like that in their oils? its a marketing thing just like LM , no moly in their oils.:)
The old bottles of Edge that said Titanium. The ad campaign they ran for years talking about Ti!
I’ve seen other oils advertising titanium.

Look at the titanium levels in the VOA Scott posted above. It’s almost 4x’s the average apparently.

What does titanium get you in the formulation?

How would I know? The last time I ran a Castrol oil was German Castrol in my M3 15+ years ago.😂
I thought I’d never buy Castrol oil again.
The only time I hear about real results are from customers that use Auto RX.

Yeah I don’t either. Just wondering.
I thought you were being an a-hole. Sorry.

The claims are increased overall engine efficiency, reduced wear, increased fuel economy & reduced exhaust smoke/pollution.

Various companies sell Ti oil additives.
Who knows. Soon every premium oil may contain generous levels of Ti.

Amazon says the Castrol 0-40 A3 meeting 229.5 does not "fit" my MB 3.5 v6. Hmmm
I had the same trouble on the Advance Auto Parts website. Despite two different cars needing oil that Castrol Euro Edge 0W-30 would work for, it said it didn't "fit," and I couldn't get the deal to work.

You know if you click that little universal share icon button in the upper right of the post, it'll give you a link that you can paste in your reply so everyone doesn't have to go click to a different page, scroll, and hunt down "post #95."

Of course. It seemed that my VOA was invisible to some in following comments. People need to try and read, a little but at least. The VOA jumps out on this thread.

On in store sales in the past I've gotten a free filter, only to leave it with the sales associate at the checkout counter. I'm picky about oil filters. I use Hengst only.

I think you can return it for a credit against the deal. I haven't done it before but I have read about others doing it.
